Important Technology Update: Companies count on Spartanics

If you have a Spartanics card counter in your manufacturing process that looks like the one shown below, please keep reading…

At Spartanics, we’ve always believed that true innovation is about anticipating our customers’ needs anddelivering solutions that not only meet those needs but also push the boundaries of what’s possible. As part of this process, we may, from time to time, need to replace certain older technologies for various reasons, so we can continue to deliver new, updated technology that better serves our clientele.

This notice is to inform you that, effective December 15, 2025, Spartanics will begin phasing out supportfor our first-generation card counters (as pictured above). These models have been a trusted part of manyof our customers’ operations for more than 30 years. However, due to the global unavailability of keyelectronic components used in this system, it can no longer be manufactured.

The successor to this model, launched in December 2025, will be called the M680 Card Counter. This new platform incorporates modern, readily available components to ensure long-term serviceability, faster support, and continued reliability.

Support Policy: Spartanics will continue to provide aftermarket support for first-generation counters forup to two years from the date of manufacture. Spare parts will be provided for the same period, or whiles upplies last. After that point, we will not be able to service your first-generation card counter or provideparts for it. Once supplies are consumed, our support for these units will transition to a labor-only service model, provided on a time-and-materials basis, subject to parts availability.

Transition Program: To make the transition easier, we will offer a trade-in credit toward a new M680 card counter system for customers upgrading within the first 6 months of launch. This program helps minimize costs and ensures continuity in your production environment. We understand that obsolescence notifications can impact operations, and we’re committed to workingclosely with you to ensure a smooth transition. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We’re confident that our new system will deliver the same dependability you’ve come to expect—now built for the next generation of performance and support. We ensure reliability in everything we do, no matter the level of need. Our longevity in the market shows that the same Spartanics equipment that built our reputation continues to drive operations across the globe. We’re renewing our targeted focus on supporting legacy machines as best we can and on current technologies with stronger parts availability, updated engineering support, and modernized control systems.

Sincerely,
Jake Kowalewski,
CEO Spartanics
